Electromedia® VII is a unique permanent media filtration system integrating a special vessel design and proprietary media.

Electromedia® VII is formulated for the filtration of cooling tower water at slightly elevated temperatures operating at near calcium carbonate saturation.

Electromedia® VII effectively removes calcium carbonate, iron and other heavy metal precipitates.

• Filter Rate: 15 gpm per sq. ft.
• Backwash Rate: 20 gpm per sq. ft.
• Required Backwash Time: 5 minutes Maximum.
• Clean Filter Differential Pressure: 2 to 4 psi.
• Terminal Differential Pressure: 25 psi.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

• Flow range from 30 to 2300 gpm simplex systems.
• 60 psi pressure tank ASME code, stamped. Higher ratings available.
• Filter tanks are carbon steel, epoxy lined at all wetted surfaces.
• Backwash flow controls, air release valves, and automatic filter control valves provided as standard.
• Standard interior fittings: cast iron, PVC, and stainless steel.
• Each tank fitted with 12" X16" manholes, 6" x 8" hand holes, or manways depending on filter size.

AUTOMATION

PLC based automatic filter controls include automatic reset timers for filtration, backwash and purge. Backwash is initiated by time or differential pressure override. Controls housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure.

WARRANTY

Filtronics warrants its filtration equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. Any Filtronics filtration equipment found to be defective within such period will be repaired or replaced, upon return to the factory.
