What is Secondary Sewage?
The Federal Clean Water Act of 1972 mandates that
all sewage plants provide secondary sewage treatment. This same
legislation requires that polluted industrial wastewater be pretreated
before release to sewage treatment plants.
In situations when suitable water quality is desired for discharge
to the ocean, landfill or for recycling purposes, Filtronics has
a solution.
Modular Approach.
Filtronics uses a unique three component modular construction
and custom design approach to each application. This design approach
is utilized in conjunction with chemical feed, sludge treatment,
and filtration of clarified elements to provide proven effectiveness
in water treatment, industrial waste pretreatment, and other conditions
requiring the separation of solids from liquids.
Skid Mount System
Filtronics offers packaged, skid mounted systems for smaller
discharge volumes. These provide a safe, one-pass discharge for
different types of wastewater, including recycled coolant water
or recycled parts washing water.
