Small Footprint = Efficiency

The carbon filters at this installation were originally furnished for taste and odor complaints from hydrogen sulfide and manganese. It failed and Filtronics was chosen to replace the equipment.

The stainless steel vessels were gutted and turned into 3 finished water storage and one backwash holding tank. The backwash was metered to the sewer during the off-peak evening hours to avoid hydraulically overloading the packaged sewage treatment plant.
